I am a vehement believer in the blockchain the Hive blockchain to be exact, not only because of my knowledge and understanding of things of the blockchain and web3 but also due to the witness and participation in life-changing opportunities granted others due to the blockchain.
I can stand anywhere and defend the Hive blockchain that it could and it is indeed making a great difference in the lives of many and we ought to actually rally behind and do everything in our power to ensure that greatness and success is achieved in every endeavor of the blockchain.
It is a world full of doubts indeed, yes scammers are all over the place and during the early days when bitcoin was just coming out, many took advantage of the opportunity to rub others of their bitcoins and so generally the world or those who may have fallen victim to this are scared of the blockchain or anything crypto related and would not even get close to listen to talk of investing in the blockchain.
But i believe through the Hive blockchain these individuals could have their opinions and ideas about blockchain and cryptocurrency overturned because of the amazing works the blockchain is doing, the lives being touched and the many good things happening right now, especially within Ghana and the Ghanaian community.
- The Social Impacts
We can baost of the borehole project touching so many lives, granting deprived communities access to potable water as well as making their livelihoods easier whiles saving them from water borne diseases that they may have contracted from streams and other river bodies that they may have had to fetch water from, lots of health complications averted and i know for a fact that on the daily residents would always mention the name of Hive.
- Health Impact
I have seen Hive grant sight to the deprived, those that could not have been able to afford simple lenses to improve their vision, i have seen have organized free community screenings, not only catering for the health of locals in rural areas but going the extra mile to provide them with free drugs or medication to make their lives a whole lot better. What could be better than this.
- Educational Impact
Within the education sector, hive is also empowering students to study and do well so they may be able to give back to the society somedays to come. This is done through the distribution of exercise books, pens and even shirts to encourage and also support the teaching and non teaching staff as well as the students to focus and continue to do more. One may not comprehend the depth of these gestures today, however i am certain in some years to come, you will meet someone who will tell you of how these small gestures made his academic life a whole lot easier.
- My Thoughts
I believe that these are just the tip of the iceberg considering the opportunities available and how far Hive could actually go in the days ahead to do even greater things in the various sectors to not only provide livelihood for thousands but also provide avenues for people to flourish by sharing their skills and talent through the blockchain.
The days ahead are certainly going to be exciting and simply cannot wait to see how far we can go. It was a pleasure to have had the opportunity to participate in this week's activities, thanks so much for your time and thanks for reading. Cheers!
