Matthew 5:29; And if your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish, than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.
We all have our Achilles heels and this makes us vulnerable one way or the other such that if not handled properly the effects may be very detrimental. Only knows what your weakness is and only you can deal with it, it is as the saying goes that, “You are the cause of your problems and you are at the same time the solution to the problem”. Whiles we may have been born with some weaknesses which we could not have done much about it some weaknesses and developed over time based on our habits, activities and what we are exposed to. In our world today the greatest threats and weaknesses that Christians are facing are sexual weakness and fear.
Christ admonishes us to rid of things that leads us to sinning. And it is these weaknesses that makes us vulnerable and lead us to sinning. Sexual desires are difficult to contain or control because it is innate and as we grow some bad habit worsen it and fuel this desire. Our TVs today are filled with obscenities so much so that there is no escape, children get exposed very early in life and by the time they come of age they minds are already filled with all these negativities. Because of this lots of Christians backslide and end up soiling themselves, defiling the temple of the Lord. Sexual relations has impacted many lives negatively so much so that some have even lost their lives as a result whiles many have also developed psychological and health conditions as a result.

But all is not lost, we can still be saved from this damnation and impending doom that threatens our Christian life, one way that we can tackle this is to stop feeding our desires. You cannot say no to your sexual desires when you always watching, reading or listening to obscenities. The more you allow these in your head you system develops and automated response to such situation and it gets worse and worse and more difficult to control. If fear is hunting you there is the need to avoid things that put you into frenzy and trepidation and focus more on things that calm you down and help you progress in your Christian life. But above all you need the Holy Spirit to be able to overcome, and the Holy Spirit thrives on our goodwill and on the Word of God. If the Word of God lives in you, the Holy Spirit is very much alive in you and you will be able to keep yourself from some of these situations and live a better life.
The Devil will always seek to exploit your weakness, do not give him the chance. Avoid it and avoid him, let the Holy Spirit lead you in the path of righteousness and you shall be emancipated.
