The world we live in presents us with lots of honor and glory in lots of ways. The word of God teaches us that the Spiritual lives to seek the Spirituals and growth in the ways of the Spirit whereas the worldly seeks the worldly.
But as Christians we have come to known and understand that we are not of this world, rather we nomads, passing through these lands. We have also come understand that the things of this world are fleeting and do not last.
So then it is pertinent that we seek the Crown of Glory which is to be given to the fervent Christian who sought after God and did as pleased the Lord in this Life.
There are many Glories but the one that will last for all of eternity is that of the heavenly. So today on this day, i would like to admonish all parishioners and to encourage us all to seek treasures of the heavenly for it does not perish.
May we attain the Kingdom of heaven and eternal life even as we strive to do right by the Lord in this fleeting life. Have a Great Week.
