Hi guys,
How are we all doing? Welcome to November, it is my fervent hope and prayer that even as we draw closer to the end of the year, this month will be filled with goodness and the attainment of our goals and aspirations set forth for the year 2023.
In the past few days we have been learning a lot about Dapps on the blockchain and in our last discussion we looked at step-by-step-by-step guide to uploading videos on the 3speak mobile app. But then getting videos on the blockchain ought to go through a certain process, you simply can't get up, record a video and put it there.
The videos we produce must not only look professional but must sound quality too as well as other additions that would make your videos likable and watchable by a large and a variety audience. And so I decided that I would introduce you to the simple tools I use on my desktop and my fon for these purposes.
The first is the cap cut application which can be found both on the Plays Store and appstore and the second is Wonder Share Filmora. However, because we recently dealt with the 3speak mobile app I want to deal with cap cut first since it's more handy and easier to acquire. We are going to go through some of the features day after day while we also look at other topics such as claiming tokens and making use of other Dapp interfaces for sharing on the blockchain. And so I do hope you stay with me. Let's see how to get Capcut on our phones first.
Welcome to Capcut Mobile App
Disclaimer: Capcut is not a Dapp on the blockchain and I certainly do not have any form of incentive whatsoever to advertise their application or anything of that sort. I only seek to enhance your video-making process by sharing my knowledge on the use of this interactive app for the purposes of the Hive blockchain.
So I have been using CapCut for a while now after I watched some videos on TikTok and realized that lots of individuals are using the application for the editing of their videos and it could do so many amazing things. I took time to follow some of these tutorials by these users, learned as much as I could, and finally decided to download and explore on my own I must say I have really enjoyed the app so far and I am glad I came across it. It has helped me a lot. All my recent videos on Three Speak were created using the app.
So today we are going to go through how to get it on your fon and then we would introduce ourselves to the simple interface. Then we can start learning the additional features as days go by. Now to get the app the first thing would be to go to your app store or Play Store to get it, in my case I use an iPhone so do permit me to use my end for the purposes of this tutorial;
- Visit the app store and search capcut. You should find it in the image seen below. Because I already have the app, I am only required to update as I haven't done that in a while, go through the normal download process and you should get it on your fon in no time.
- Now we have the app on our fon, The next thing is to open the app, and you will get an interface like what I have below. You may need to log in for smooth work or transition, I did log in with my Gmail so you can go ahead and do that, it's safe and fast.
- Once that is done, we can now try our hands on our first edit or upload by selecting a new project, this would automatically take you to your gallery's videos where you can select one or multiple videos to be worked on. Here is how mine appears.
- You can now do simple things to the video or videos by adding transitions, and overlays, cutting pieces of the video off, adding copyright-free images from Capcut's music list, etc. Afterward, we can save our video in high-quality 1080 by selecting it up there as highlighted in the image below, and then tapping on the upload icon for it to be saved.
- The video is exported in high quality and automatically saved to your gallery, you can now share them via other social media or simply go through the step-by-step guide to uploading your video on the blockchain through the 3speak app and you are good to go. It is that simple.
Upnext, simple editing features and claiming of tokens
And so now we have two amazing apps for easy video works or vlogging on the blockchain. We are going to be learning some of the editing features as the days go by so do stay with me. In the meantime, I do hope that this helps a user with their vlogging experience. Do well to explore and feel free to ask anything you do not understand.
Also, stay tuned for our lessons on claiming tokens which we are going to look at in our next series of discussions, we may start with hive's wallet and then other Dapp interfaces. So as I wrap up, I'd say, thanks for reading and for being with me today, I wish you the very best this week. Cheers!
