How are we all doing? December is here, i could smell Christmas in the air and i know most of us are getting excited as the days go by and we get closer and closer to Christmas. And so i want to be one of the very first from our community to extend season's greetings to us all.
Our Community has been doing amazing and i must commend all the amazing writers and content producers for not just adding value to the community but taking their time to promote and improve the blockchain as a whole. The future is indeed very bright and it is pertinent now more than ever that we continue to do what we are doing and more to help our community and the blockchain grow.
Community Activities: Discord Hangouts
So, as i was saying, together we rise, united we stand, we can only grow by helping each other reach the zenith. Partaking in community activities is one of the essential exercises that we must engage in to help bring the community into growth and fruition and the achievement of our set goals and objectives.
Our weekly engagement challenge is one of the most contributed activities on the blockchain and for that we say kudos to all of us for making that highlight of the community, however, that is not the only community activity available for our partaking, one such activity is the weekly discord meeting or hangout that is held on the Sunday of every week 8pm GMT in the hive Ghana server room.
If you are seeking to grow, if you are seeking to make friends and get to know individuals on the blockchain, the best avenue to do so is through discord. I could tell you from experience that my meeting some of the community leaders here and the formation of life long bonds had stemmed from some of these hangouts and meetings. You get to see, hear and put a voice to the username you always visit or like their post.
Then there is the part where we get to learn together as a group. For individuals that have been attending the hangout consistently every week, you can attest to this that, every time we meet we learn something new, and these thing we learn, when applied well tend to have such significant impact on our lives on the blockchain that we get what was worth our time that we spent during the meeting.

@nattybongoAnd so i would like to admonish each and everyone of us to make that effort, especially newbies who may still be finding their way around the blockchain, you would benefit immensely from these meetings and then sometimes you could win giveaways in the form of hive and sbd and that could just make your day.
