Matthew 7:7-8; Ask and it shall be given to you; seek and you shall find; knock and it shall be opened to you. For everyone that asks receives; and everyone who seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened.
Anyone at any point in their lives may have realized that persistence yielded results. It may when you need an exeat to go home and had to pester your house master or mistress, it may be when you need an answer from you crush and you had to keep pushing, it may be when you wanted Daddy or Mummy to buy you something and you had to go overboard to get what you want but then eventually when you persisted they yielded, they gave in and gave you what you want.
This is what the scripture is trying to draw out attention to today. If your mortal could not hold back against you, in the same vain God’s love for us is so much so that he cannot hold back again us when we need something and we ask. So the point to note it that, you do not need to let go once you get a no or even no response at first, you just have to keep it up and you will surely get the answer you seek.
