Well, I believe that the reason someone might "withdraw" their money from Hive out of necessity is simply because they believe they "have no other alternative" and see that some HIVEs-which they will not receive instantly but over a long period of many weeks-can help them with their expenses or emergencies. People who do this either don't see HP/Hive as a long-term savings source or simply don't know the enormous potential they have by maintaining and growing it.
This is mostly due to a lack of information, communities or users with limited resources who are simply looking for financial alternatives to support themselves. I live in the third world, in the worst country in Latin America in terms of economy, so I consider Hive a pretty useful alternative. However, this does not change the fact that I am going to withdraw all the money I have saved in my account to buy what I need right now.
First, you need to be well-informed; that's the starting point. Then, explore alternatives, seek out contacts, or connect with users or projects that offer loan services or savings options. Over a year ago, I met a great user on Hive who has a small community, a business that has been around for many years, and who has been here since before Hive was founded. He's someone I can trust, and I've done business with him and he's helped me tremendously with tips, guides and recommendations for how to grow here at Hive.
He works with and supports different communities through her small project and has plans to grow and help others grow as well. His commitment to Hive and what he plans to do motivated me to entrust a good part of my HP to him alone, since he is someone who knows how to use voting power impartially.
Good post.
