Honestly, I never fully understood what the Proof of Brain is. Long before I started at Hive, I was already creating content, and it was gradually evolving into something more personal and human. But I do completely agree with the Proof of Social Value. In other words, Hive is a social network (well, it's much more than that, but essentially it is), so it's clear that you need to manage a kind of Proof like this.

If we only focus on the content and not on what's really behind each account or user, we may not be aware of many things that might go unnoticed. The same thing happens when creators who "make live" on Hive are dismissed, simply for not having "exceptional quality content" or whatever that means. Some demand something exceptional and in the end only vote for accounts of girls who share photos on Dbuzz. Anyway, I'm not trying to complain about this, I'm just mentioning it as an example of how unbalanced the way rewards are distributed in Hive currently is.

I love to write, it's what I always do and I would prefer to live off of it alone, without needing to have any human contact with anyone else. But I know that, as a content creator, I need to generate real interaction, socialize, network, or whatever the oldies here call it. If I want to succeed in doing what I love, I need many things, including a community, and that is achieved by socializing. By making myself known, speaking, making myself heard, and even revealing my face (if possible), I demonstrate that I am 100% real and authentic. And it's all achieved through socializing, since that's where the bonds you create with other creators and users are born, bonds that then become partners, friends, or something more, who knows?
