This anime has all the makings of a run-of-the-mill isekai. But the way it blends action with humor and its excessive use of fan service made it quite popular. Its second season is now airing, imagine that.

It's not that it's a bad anime, it just doesn't have anything new beyond the same old stuff. Although, that might be entertaining given the demand for this type of work in the industry.
