As a creator, I understand the urgency people have to "promote" themselves in an uncontrolled and rushed way on Hive. I understand that they have something to show, but many times they opt for very unethical measures, in my personal opinion. I'm not a marketing expert by any means, but even I know the right way to promote yourself, not just on Hive, but all over the internet.
But well, maybe it's because they have a rather closed mind, a very small target audience, or simply due to ignorance and lack of preparation and education that they do the things they do. Most people just imitate others, mainly large and well-known accounts or projects, and believe that this will make them successful. They think they'll be forgiven for SPAM if they try to convince us that's not what they're doing when they probably don't even really know what SPAM is.
But that's precisely why we URGENTLY NEED expert people or members who know about the marketing area in Hive. And not only that, but they should share their knowledge, because there are communities and projects that are only signed by people who want to make money, developers who don't know how to promote themselves, People who always depend on AI for everything and who think that making a daily report of updates to their own Front-End is enough as promotion, etc.
Every project, every community needs someone to properly handle its marketing. Not all projects on Hive have the money to pay someone like that, but hey, we're a community, right? We're supposed to have each other. We must rely on and trust our fellow Hivians, at least those who have not yet deceived or disappointed us.
We need to expand our minds, look for options beyond what can be done legally in Hive, and always seek alternatives and use them. "Nothing ventured, nothing gained."
Good work.
