I agree with everything you say; currently the Hive community is more divided due to certain ways of thinking and doing things. While we agree on many things, we also have different opinions on many other things, and that's normal. But when it comes to "creating" everything gets quite complicated because, as you yourself mention, we have to take many things into account. Starting with a vision, a goal, a purpose for which you want to create something. If your goal is to make money, it's very difficult right now, but if your objective is to contribute something NEW to the ecosystem and help others, then you need to carefully consider what you can offer.
It's not just about agreeing with everything and jumping right in to do whatever you want, just because you want to get out of the way. The idea is to know what you can do and how you can contribute to a project, a product, a community, etc. Regarding what you say about some so-called "creators" who are only looking for maximum attention, money, and an audience to extort, one has to be careful where one gets involved. It surprises me that there are people who have been on Hive for YEARS who make the same mistake as always of trusting too much, but understand that many are crazy about money and you know what people are capable of for money.
But I also think that people's vision is not as broad as it should be. For example, what you say about replicating, copying, or stealing an idea from someone else who isn't or has a closed mind to create your own product (such as the number of Snaps that currently exist in the chain, for example), is a perfect example of how this Hive community is fragmenting. We talk about unity, communion, mutual support, but in the end everyone goes their own way, does their own thing, and if something catches their attention they only contribute the bare minimum, like a habit from years ago, and that's it.
I believe that we can all do our part in making genuine "connections" and "contributions" to those projects with a real future. We must always ask ourselves how we can each contribute as users, creators, developers, professionals, etc. I know all work is valuable and not everyone is willing to work for free, but if nobody does anything or we all wait for some kind soul to descend from the heavens to help, we'll never get anywhere. As we say here in my country: don't leave to others what you can do yourself.
Although in the end this "do it yourself" vision leads us to the same old thing: more projects, more applications and more developments that replicate what already exists and that, due to lack of support or Lack of interest from the community means they are abandoned over time. To avoid that, we must also instill in each of us the willingness to give, delegate, or offer what we have to the people we truly know are willing to take it to its full potential.
In the end, everything is recorded on the blockchain, so there's nothing to fear... right?
