And this is my second portrait with colored pencils. On kraft paper. The paper was too thin for layers. It made her cringe a little.
How important do you think it is to maintain a sense of "I need to learn"? For some reason, I thought for a long time that what you learned as a child - student, and build your life and career on this knowledge. And you definitely need to choose one direction of activity and follow it all your life. Now it seems to me that this installation is extremely unviable.
Perhaps I have formed such a worldview from the fact that my parents lead the same lifestyle for a long time. My father has probably been working for a company for 20 years. And my mother is a housewife. I wonder how it is with others. I tend to believe that after all, we take many concepts of the norm from our parents. And to be honest, it is quite difficult to change these norms. It takes a lot of energy and courage.
I watched a video about people who started their journey from low-income families. Some period of their life was the overcoming of "habitual norms". They were the first to wake up and the last to go to bed. It seems to me that only such efforts can change your life for the better. Without effort, it is impossible to remain even at the same level.
I guess it all comes down to what suits you. Which way of life do you agree with? And then it is no longer a question of learning or not.
