I continue the series with contrasting still lifes. The more I paint with pastels, the more I fall in love with her. It's kind of like an oil painting. Its concealment, saturation. It looks like a watercolor with the ability to remove the color from the sheet to zero. And at the same time light and fluffy. It's like distributing velvet.
To date, my materials allow me to experiment while working. I can easily remove the failed solutions and replace them with new ones. (more successful or not)). What I can't afford to work like with watercolors. It's a little bit about something else. I've been thinking in pastels for the last few days.
I want to discover the theme of color even more. I still can't decide to buy books about it. I like to dive into this, why not reinforce my curiosity with the look of more experienced masters.
And surprisingly, I came to still lifes after 15 years. Honestly, I didn't think this day would come.
