I remember watching videos on YouTube a few years ago where artists drew their favorite characters with colored pencils. And I wanted to, too. I started exploring this niche. The paths led me to the banal-buying professional pencils. The technique of drawing with colored pencils involves layering and mixing. And only high-quality materials can allow such a load and freedom. I checked on ordinary colored pencils, they could not be layered on top of each other, and there is no mixing either.
For several years, I could not afford this expensive purchase. But the accumulation helped. And now, you see the job I've been dreaming about for several years. These pencils simply melt, they are easy to work with.
The only feeling that I caught while working on this picture-I feel like a printer.
I used tracing paper in my work. It helps to protect the work from fingerprints, because pencils do not draw on greasy spots.
