Oil painting. Now many artists paint with acrylic paints on canvases. To be honest, I also tried to paint nature and portraits with acrylic. Both on canvas and on paper. But I can't get a feel for this stuff. I can't figure out the consistency, and the color darkens when it dries... In pasty paints-oil is my favorite. I also want to try a medium that helps paint dry faster. And there is also an organic solvent based on lemon, I want to try it.
I took this photo in the room where we almost finished the renovation. Here is one of the photos of the process. By the way, I painted the wall with acrylic paint in three layers. And it was very energy-intensive. Because I painted the wallpaper, and they are textured, and to paint small relief it was necessary to pass the roller in several directions . Note to me for the future - do not buy relief wallpaper for painting. I did it for the first time. And now we have laminate flooring and even glued skirting boards))
The skirting board is a separate story. We have large gaps between the laminate and the wall. Standard skirting board for the floor, even the widest did not fit. And just by chance, we noticed a skirting board for the ceiling. And that's what you can see in the photo)) I think this is the essence of repair, to make mistakes and try to disguise them))))
And the color of the wall pleases to this day. Although there were doubts whether to use a dark color in the interior.
