When I was a little girl, I wanted different pets to live with me. It all started innocuously with dogs and cats. But the more I learned what kind of creatures there were in the world, the more the list grew. A certain period of my life was filled with encyclopedias about animals and books on veterinary medicine. I loved to enjoy the beauty of animals and their way of life. After much persuasion from the children (there were three of us), Dad bought us the first parrot. He had canaries and pigeons as a child, so he understood the birds better.
Now I also have periodic thoughts about a pet. But now I feel the full responsibility of caring for a living being. And something makes me feel like it's going to limit my freedom.
And as a child, I thought long-haired cats were the best))) Now I prefer oriental cats. Tastes change))
