Watercolour cat. The largest portrait of a cat that I have drawn to date.
My experience is about a portrait with bright, accentuated eyes. These are very soulful works. Pictures with such eyes are very catchy. They are like portals to another dimension. Such pictures very strongly set the atmosphere and attract attention to themselves. Especially at dusk or at night. Actually, that's why this picture is on my shelf. It is too bright, which is even a little uncomfortable.
Is it normal to be bright at all? I love red lipstick. I fell in love with her as a child because of her performances. When I put on red lipstick, I feel in my place. I feel beautiful and unique. But if someone appears in the space, I want to erase it and not attract attention. I still have my favorite red lipstick for performances only. I consciously refuse the pleasure of wearing it.
Yesterday I put on my first red lip paint in years. I'd forgotten what that meant to me. Why do I give up my favorite things? And yes, I haven't performed in years. But it's also a part of me. What pleases and fills me. Be bright and attract attention. Or do everything just to avoid attracting attention?
The only photo of the process.
