We always expect a heavy downpour ⛈️ for Mother's Day around here in Venezuela and the rainy season has already begun. After lunch and resting after the delicious food, we got ready to spend the afternoon with drinks and our favorite music 🫂.

My husband and I sat on the backyard patio 🏡, that area is more comfortable, however, the heat yesterday, Sunday, was anything but normal.

The heat was like never before, or at least that's how it felt. Even so, it was Mommies' Day and we had to get dressed up to share a day with the family.

All afternoon I waited for the rain ⛈️ to cool things down, but it never did. The heat was getting more and more horrible. I was drinking a few beers 🍻 and even if I drank the whole box, the heat wouldn't go away, hehe. It's the first time since I can remember that it hasn't rained, but not a single leaf on the plants moved 🌳.

The important thing is that we had a good time, despite constantly wiping away the sweat with a hand towel. I took lots of selfies, because the photos 📷 will remind me of this day like no other. To end this day, I'm sharing a saying from a dear friend that says: Zulians don't sweat, we shine ✨!! Hehehe.

Siempre esperamos un fuerte aguacero ⛈️ para el día de las madres por estos lados de Venezuela y es que ya comenzó la temporada de lluvias. Después del almuerzo y reposar la deliciosa comida, nos arreglamos para pasar la tarde entre bebidas y música favorita 🫂.

Nos sentamos en el patio trasero de la casa 🏡 mi esposo y yo, esa área es más cómoda, sin embargo el calor que hizo ayer domingo no fue nada normal.

El calor estaba como nunca o por lo menos así lo sentí, aún así era el día de las mamis y había que ponerse bonita para compartir un día en familia.

Toda la tarde espere la lluvia ⛈️ para que refrescará el ambiente, pero nunca fue así, el calor era cada vez más horrible, estuve tomando unas cervezas 🍻 y así me tomase la caja completa el calor no se iría, Jejeje. Primera vez desde que tengo uso de razón que no llueve, pero no sé movia ni una hoja de las plantas 🌳.

Lo importante es que la pasamos bien, a pesar de estar secando el sudor con una toalla de mano constantemente, me tomé muchas selfies, porque las fotos 📷 me recordaran éste día como ningún otro. Para terminar este día comparto un dicho de un amigo querido que dice: ¡¡Los Zulianos no sudamos, brillamos ✨!! Jejeje.
