With the end of the semester, the opportunity opens for those students who have expressed interest in improving their grades, considering different circumstances. It's part of the motivation they need.

On the other hand, there are also students who want to improve their final grade. They regularly attend in-person classes, so it's a viable option for them.

The fact is that we're not in high school where make-up exams are required to pass subjects; rather, it's a matter of opportunity, and that's part of applying the socio-emotional skills that must be embedded in our teaching role.

The in-person class was also a little different because we ran dynamics using the hexagram technique, which teachers recently practiced in a continuing education workshop.

The class was quite participatory. Two teams were formed to analyze different topics presented through the hexagram, a super comprehensive and interesting technique.

The learning experience was undoubtedly significant, and the closing was excellent; many people left the class jumping from the classroom. joy when they managed to improve their well-deserved grades; others made enough progress to pass the subject, demonstrating competencies. A few are still pending because I haven't been able to evaluate them yet. They have certain learning difficulties that I've noticed in class. That's another topic that will be discussed next week.

Everyone has the right to improve, to enhance, to a second chance. I'm sure these students won't forget much of the content we shared in class. In addition to the dynamics we used, our meetings were not only productive, but also interesting and motivating.

As teachers, we must be able to evaluate using different methods, even if the end result is still based on quantitative weighting. Motivation can't let its guard down in teaching practice; that's when we'll truly see the fruits of our labors in our students.

Con el cierre del semestre se abre la posibilidad para aquellos estudiantes que han puesto en evidencia su interés para recuperar sus notas considerando diferentes circunstancias, es parte de esa motivación que necesitan.

Por otro lado también están los estudiantes que quieren aumentar su nota final. Estos de manera constante asisten a clases presenciales, así que es una opción viable para ellos.

El caso es que no estamos en la preparatoria donde se hacen recuperativos para pasar las materias, más bien es una cuestión de oportunidades, y eso va en la aplicación de las competencias socio-emocionales que deben estar inmersas en nuestra función docente.

La clase presencial fue también un poco diferente, porque realizamos dinámicas con la aplicación de la técnica del hexagrama que los docentes practicamos hace poco, en un taller de formación continua.

La clase fue bastante participativa, se conformaron dos equipos a fin de analizar temas diferentes mostrados a través del hexagrama, una técnica super completa e interesante.

El aprendizaje fue signifativo sin duda, el cierre excelente, muchos salieron saltando de alegria cuando lograron mejorar sus notas bien merecidas, otros avanzaron lo suficiente para que la materia fuese aprobada, demostraron competencias, y unos pocos siguen pendiente, porque aún no he podido evaluarlos, tienen ciertas dificultades de aprendizaje que he notado en clases, eso es otro tema que quedará pendiente para la próxima semana.

Todos tienen derecho a superarse, a mejorar, a una segunda oportunidad. Estoy segura que estos estudiantes no olvidarán muchos de los contenidos que compartimos en clases, además de las dinámicas que utilizamos, nuestros encuentros no solo fueron productivos, sino con ese toque interesante, motivador.

Como docentes debemos ser capaces de evaluar con diferentes métodos, aunque al final se siga marcando con una ponderacion cuantitativa. La motivación no puede bajar la guardia en la práctica docente, es allí cuando veremos realmente los frutos en los estudiantes.
