Middle school education isn't easy; finding a good public school is almost a miracle. For this reason, I did some research, looking for references, and visiting private schools, taking into account the distance, monthly fees, and quality of education.

As a mother, I'm concerned that my daughter receives a good education; regardless of the country's situation, it's the least we can do as parents. This Friday, I had my first interview at one of the high schools that is currently at the top of the list of options.

This school has been around for over 50 years. We have several neighbors with children studying there, and even relatives who graduated there.

The thing is, they held this first call to also conduct a census of new students and determine how many sections will be opened. It's a small school, but it offers secondary education through a bachelor's degree in science.

While I waited for my turn for the interview, I took pictures of the place to show my daughter what the school looks like. It's not pretty in my opinion, but it has the necessary conditions to create a pleasant environment for its students' academic development, as well as a playground for their sports activities.

Another thing I liked about this high school is that it has good security; students who have transportation are not allowed to leave until they arrive to pick it up. That reminded me of my time in middle school. The high school I attended felt like a prison. Hehehe. They wouldn't let us leave until the bus arrived, and my brother would get upset 🤭🤭🤭.

Representatives with students at this school have also told me that the teachers are very attentive to the children, not only in their academic performance but also in their behavior and relationships with other students. I think it's ideal.

So far, there hasn't been much information regarding payments or registration. However, they will determine if my daughter will be on the official list of applicants because I understand that they will conduct an academic evaluation later.

This school is currently one of the most affordable; however, tuition is still not definitive, and it will undoubtedly increase. As for the distance, it's a bit far from home, so at this point I'm looking into transportation.

Other children from my daughter's school are applying to this school, and one of the children's mothers is a good friend. If I can arrange transportation with them, then that's where she'll attend, if she's accepted.

There's another private school closer to home that doesn't require transportation. In the event that the first option doesn't work out, primarily due to transportation, I'll have to enroll her in this second option. It's a relatively new private school; I've been told it's good, but it's much more expensive. If the first school ends up being more expensive due to transportation, I'd rather keep her close to home. 🏡 We have these months to review this whole matter, always looking for the best for my daughter, which in the end will be peace of mind for us parents.

El tema educacion para la etapa media no está fácil, conseguir un buen colegio público, es casi un milagro. Por ésta razón estuve investigando, buscando referencias y visitando liceos privados, teniendo en cuenta la distancia, los pagos mensuales y la educación de calidad.

Como mamá me ocupa el hecho de que mi hija reciba una buena educación, más allá de la situación país es lo menos que podemos hacer como padres por ellos. Éste viernes tuve la primera entrevista en uno de los liceos que hasta el momento está de primero en la lista de opciones.

Éste colegio tiene más de 50 años de fundado, tenemos varios vecinos con chicos estudiando en él, y hasta familiares que se graduaron allí.

La cuestión es que hicieron ésta primera convocatoria para también levantar un censo de los nuevos ingresos y determinar cuántas secciones se van a aperturar. Es un colegio pequeño pero ofrece educación secundaria hasta el bachillerato en ciencias.

Mientras esperaba mi turno para la entrevista estuve tomando fotografías del lugar para mostrarle a mi hija como se ve el liceo. No es bonito a mi parecer, sin embargo tiene las condiciones necesarias para crear un ambiente agradable en cuanto a la formación academica de sus estudiantes, también un patio para sus actividades deportivas.

Otra cosa que me gustó de éste liceo es que tiene buena seguridad, no dejan salir a los estudiantes que tienen transporte hasta que no lleguen a retirarlos. Eso me recordó a mis tiempos de estudio en la etapa media, el liceo donde estudiaba parecía una cárcel, Jejeje, no nos dejaban salir hasta que llegara el transporte, mi hermano se molestaba 🤭🤭🤭.

También me han contado representantes con estudiantes en éste colegio, que los profesores están bien pendientes de los chicos, no solo en su desempeño escolar sino también en su comportamiento y relacion con otros estudiantes, me parece ideal.

Por ahora no hubo mucha información en cuanto a los pagos, tampoco de las inscripciones, sin embargo ellos determinarán si mi hija quedará en la lista oficial de los aspirantes, porque tengo entendido que más adelante les harán una evaluación académica.

Éste colegio hasta el momento es uno de los que tienen el costo de la matrícula más económica, aún así no es nada definitivo y aumentará sin duda alguna. En cuanto a la distancia, es un poco lejos de casa, por lo que en éste momento analizó el tema transporte.

De la escuela donde estudia mi hija otros niños están aspirando a éste liceo y una de las mamás de los niñ@s es una buena amiga, y si logro organizar con ellos el tema transporte, entonces es allí donde estudiará, si la aceptan.

Existe otro liceo privado más cerca de casa que no requiere transporte. En el caso de que la primera opción no funcione más que todo por el tema transporte, me tocará inscribirla en ésta segunda opción. Es un liceo privado relativamente nuevo, me han comentado que es bueno, sin embargo es mucho más costoso, pero si al final el primer liceo me sale más costoso por el tema transporte, prefiero dejarla cerca de casa 🏡. Tenemos estos meses para revisar todo éste asunto, buscando siempre lo mejor para mí hija, que al final será tranquilidad para nosotros los papás.
