I want to take this opportunity to share how beautiful it was to see my little one and all the children singing to their mothers, expressing the love they feel and their admiration for us. I don’t usually celebrate this day because I believe our day is every day. However, I accepted my son’s proposal, which I found irresistible, as he lovingly told me he wanted me to be there—even if, upon arriving, he started playing—but in his heart and intention, he wanted to give me his little gift right there in the classroom.

The truth is that listening to him and seeing his eyes so genuinely filled with love made me forget how truly tired I sometimes feel or when I question myself as a mother, wondering if I am doing things right. It even made me forget about the stressful days at home because we all know that being a mother requires courage, effort, and dedication—so much so that we often forget ourselves amid the daily routine.

Despite everything, I felt something beautiful with my children, and the truth is, I loved the moment when I could connect my baby’s gaze with mine—it felt like it came from the very soul. And in this moment, I want to say that your day is every single one you spend on this earth as a mother, and as a mother, you are perfect, beautiful, and brave.
