Hi Hive folks, how are you doing? We continue to carry out our manual tasks, which gives us enormous satisfaction. Some time ago my mother made me this blue blouse that I like very much, but one day when I ironed it, part of it burned and I couldn't wear it anymore until today, when I will make a flower of satin blue fabric to hide the defect.

Materiales:

  • Aguja e hilo azul.
  • Un pedacito de tela azul oscuro.
  • Silicona liquida.
  • 2,5 CM de cadena strass.

Materials:

A piece of blue satin fabric 12 centimeters long by 6 wide.
Needle and blue thread.
A little piece of dark blue cloth.
Liquid silicone.
2.5 CM rhinestone chain.

We fold the strip widthwise and sew by hand along the entire edge, creasing and calculating the desired size

Luego unimos los dos extremos y cosemos. Ya nuestra flor va tomando su forma.

Then we join the two ends and sew. Our flower is already taking its shape.

We cut out 2 small circles. On the right side we glue very well and place the 2.5cm of rhinestone chain also applying liquid silicone.

On the reverse side of the flower we are going to glue the other fabric circle only applying liquid silicone in the center, that is, except for the edges. Once it is well glued and dry, we will proceed to sew with a needle and thread all over the edge. Note that to sew more comfortably I picked up the body of the flower with a pin.

Once the entire edge is sewn, I release the pin and we have a blouse with a decorative application hiding a hole produced by an iron burn.
