Its been a tough year for water shortages all over, except in Bangkok which was recently flooded! It's supposed to be worse next year due to the El Nino becoming Super El Nino , I read!

I actually know a guy who harvests rainwater. He built his house over a giant underground water tank 20 years ago. Originally, he said they never ran out year round but the last few years, he's also had to truck water in. I guess its not very economical in tropical climates as you need consistent rainfall or huge storage ability.
