You're right. In this climate, they are a waste of money and it's really rather sad when you have to throw them out.

Indoor gardening is something I need to get more into. The wife has cactus and I have a chilli plant but everything else I try and grow indoors does nothing. HAving said that, when the house is finished on Samui, I will have a whole load of gardening to do so perhaps I will just wait for the outdoors plants!
