I lived in Frankfurt and Darmstadt Germany for 3-1/2 years, it was an experience, I would go days without hearing English when I wasnt on the base. At the neighborhood bar it was a mix of people from Yugoslavia (it was a long time ago) Italy, the U.S.,we were all Foreigner's and we all had a special bond because we were all outsiders, I learned so much in that time!
