🌉This is a route I take from time to time when I go to university, although it's more of an alternative path. There's a subway station that drops me off much closer, but I just love walking around here, so I take advantage of any little excuse to do it.
🌅Este es un camino que hago de vez en cuando cuando voy a la universidad, aunque es más bien un camino alternativo, porque hay una estación del metro que me deja bastante más cerca, pero me gusta caminar por aquí, así que aprovecho cada vez que tengo una pequeña excusa para hacerlo.
🌉On this occasion, I had to return a book to a library that isn't the university's. I had to cross the estuary to get there, so that was the perfect excuse.
🌅En esta ocasión tenía que devolver un libro a una biblioteca que no es la de la uni, tenía que cruzar la ría para llegar, así que esa fue la excusa perfecta.
🌉I was in a good mood for a walk, and most people seemed to feel the same way. Funnily enough, even though the sky was completely gray when I left the house, the scenery had completely changed in this area.
🌅Estaba de buen ánimo para caminar, y la mayoría de la gente parecía sentir lo mismo, pues curiosamente, aunque cuando salí de mi casa el cielo estaba completamente gris, en esta zona había cambiado el panorama.
🌉The temperature was perfect. The sky seemed to be playing a joke: on one side, large dark clouds were threatening, and on the other, the sun and the sea breeze were embracing and cheering people up.
🌅La temperatura estaba perfecta. El cielo parecía estar bromeando, hacia un lado amenazaban unas grandes nubes negras, y hacia el otro el sol y la brisa del mar abrazaban y alegraban a la gente.
🌉It was bustling with activity: people fishing, rowers training, passengers arriving on the ferry, the siren of a giant cruise ship sounding…
🌅Había mucho movimiento: gente pescando, remeros entrenando, viajeros que venían en el transbordador, la sirena del crucero gigante sonando…
🌉Even on days filled with routine and chores, we can change up a little detail, like the route we take to get to our everyday destinations. It doesn't always have to be the exact same.
🌅Incluso en los días de rutina y actividades podemos variar algún detalle, como la ruta que tomamos para llegar al sitio al que vamos todos los días, no tiene que ser siempre la misma.
