Yes I agree with you on this, it is necessary to feel pain but once in a long while, pain is not a good thing but it makes us take corrections so as not to do exactly the same thing or fall into the same trap that made us feel the pain. Making grave mistakes can cause lot of pains but once someone has gone through a particular pain the person won't want to have the same pain again thereby creating awareness and helping the person take corrections so as not to encounter the same problem that made him or her feel the pain
