문화체육관광부는 9월 ‘독서의 달’을 맞아 전국 1,572개 기관·단체·기업에서 1만여 건의 독서문화 행사가 열린다고 밝혔다. 올해 표어는 ‘그냥 좋아서(書)’다. 작가와의 만남, 강연, 공연, 전시, 책 나눔 등이 이어지며, 제13회 대한민국 독서대전은 9월 18일부터 20일까지 춘천 김유정문학촌과 공지천 일대에서 개최된다. 지역 출판과 작은도서관 포럼, 책 시장 등 지역 특색을 살린 프로그램도 선보인다.
South Korea’s Culture Ministry says more than 10,000 reading events will take place at 1,572 organizations nationwide during September’s Reading Month. Programs include author talks, lectures, performances, exhibitions and book sharing. The 13th Korea Reading Festival will run from Sept. 18 to 20 in Chuncheon.
