A few years ago, someone gave me a wonderful surprise — the kind only genuine surprises can be. Without me expecting it, she picked up my guitar, the one I keep hanging on the wall gathering dust, and with a smile began to play a few chords. Then came the lyrics to something I found beautiful, and I recognised it immediately… it was one of my poems.
Wow, I got so nervous I didn’t know what to do. I couldn’t believe it, and I think my happiness was obvious. There are people like that, who have those small gestures that make the soul dance with joy.
But yesterday… oh Universe, after reading a post here on Hive that mentioned a… 😏 a way of making music, I felt very curious, and I have to admit it: I was absolutely amazed by what I got after a few clumsy attempts.
Yes, my dears, it’s an Artificial Intelligence — it took it less than 10 seconds to create four versions of this song… sorry, it’s a little poem I wrote. I shared it with one day, if I remember correctly. 😄 Of course I remember — it’s in the comments of this post.
But let me share the prompt with you so that SUNO AI could create this:
The song opens with lush ambient synth pads creating an expansive atmosphere, Layers of rhythmic arpeggios and electronic percussion gradually build, introducing syncopated bass and evolving textures, A steady crescendo intensifies the progressive hype, peaking with euphoric synth leads.
I gave it the poem in the section where you can enter lyrics, although the AI can create the whole song for you with just a few words if you want. Another prompt for that… I also told it that I wanted a female voice, and I think you can even choose musical instruments and whatever else you like — just give it the details you want in the prompt.
Yes, this is scary.
But I won’t deny that I loved it.
I told you it gives you four versions instantly. It lets you download two of them for free, but it warns you that you can’t use them commercially. And it gives you two one‑minute versions, obviously incomplete, so that if you feel tempted, you can pay the subscription — 8 dollars a month if you pay for the whole year, or 10 if you only pay for one month — and then you get access to many other things, including the right to commercialise your creations.

🙂
No, no, no… I’m absolutely "flipando en colores" 🤣 (flipping out) with this, as the Spaniards say.
For the English speakers, I translated another poem of mine. With that one I did make a few adjustments, with the help of another AI — Copilot — because my English doesn’t stretch that far. And I adapted it into music.
Listen to that and tell me what you think. This is also published here on Hive.
So I’d like us to debate these things. The topic of AI is a bit thorny here on Hive, I know. Some people have even lost their jobs because of it. This is truly sad… or is it pushing us to look for other opportunities? To grow in some other way? To adapt to a new rhythm? Do you feel it’s a danger, or an open door to new possibilities?
Because in my case, I have many mixed emotions. AI helps me translate. AI helps me create a musical version of a poem I wrote myself. AI is being useful to me in many ways, and right now, at this moment, it’s great fun to create songs from my poems. Maybe I’ll go for it and pay for a month to… I don’t know. The idea of setting my poems to music and starting a YouTube channel has crossed my mind. Why not?
The debate is now open… I’d love to read all your thoughts on the matter.
Here’s another poem for you… oh Universe, what a tender thing. With two voices this time, female and male. I’m honestly very impressed.
I hope you enjoy them.
