Pantan Terong in Takengon, Aceh Province is one of the favorite tourist destinations in Central Aceh. Every weekend or other national holidays, many travelers visit this location. Mostly local tourists, but sometimes also visited by international tourists.
When we are in Pantan Terong, we can look at the beauty of Lake Laut Tawar and the surrounding hills that are captivating. The position of clouds is often lower than our position in Pantan Terong, so this region is also called the Country Above the Clouds.

Berada di Pantan Terong, kita dapat memandangi keindahan Danau Laut Tawar dan perbukitan di sekitarnya yang menawan. Seringkali, posisi awan berada lebih rendah daripada posisi kita di Pantan Terong, sehingga kawasan ini disebut juga Negeri Diatas Awan.
