Here in Venezuela, many cafes and bars closed. I miss one where we used to go on Fridays for poetry readings; they had cheap beer and soft music. The owner left the country, and now the place is an inn. Reading your post makes me realize that I don't have a place like El Madrid to meet up with friends and strangers right now. So many things have changed, both inside and outside of me, because of the pandemic, that remembering such "special" places seems strange and distant. Hugs, Eric
