I think the problem of excessive, uncontrolled shopping is basically limited to a certain social class or certain countries—or at least that’s what I believe. I’m not saying there aren’t people with little money who are willing to go to great lengths to get the latest smartphone, a nice pair of shoes, or a designer handbag. There certainly are. The other day I saw a report on the amount of usable “products” that are thrown away in the United States just because they’ve gone out of style, and it’s cause for concern. The more money you have, the more you want to spend. Best regards
