I agree with you on many of the aspects you touch on here. I have seen many people fall asleep at the laurels, just because they have more capabilities or knowledge than others. It happens to me with some students, that because they are intelligent they don't study and come out worse than those who although they are less intelligent, are disciplined and can study daily. I once had a boyfriend who was not so attractive but he was an extraordinary human being, humorous, kind, gentlemanly and very lucky with girls. I think that since he was a little boy he understood that if he wanted to have a girlfriend he had to develop other skills and exploit other virtues. We are not all good at everything!
