I agree with the notion that if it didn't take long to get something, you don't mind losing it. Like you, I also remember that when I was a child I had to earn every penny by doing small jobs that my parents assigned me and that only if I complied, they gave me to go to the movies, to buy candy or even to buy books and magazines. Maybe that's why I cry when I see that I must use my savings or see my savings devalue. In these last years the money that falls into the hands of most Venezuelans is for food. Even if it is not seen, it is a good investment, considering that food, due to the inflation in the country, may have a value today and another tomorrow and may be scarce.
