Venezuela was a prosperous country and we Venezuelans could afford some things. I remember that my father changed cars every year and when I graduated, not only did I start traveling, but I was able to buy everything I wanted. With a good job, I could afford to buy clothes weekly, which I gave away after two or three months. When our country went bankrupt, things changed. Now I look to invest every penny that falls into my account or use it for food - of course I value things more today! Here's a saying: He who doesn't cost, parties. The more effort, the more feeling.
