I have watched with great concern these events that keep not only your country, but other countries of the world, on edge. With regret, I can say that the government of my country, Venezuela, has been one of those who have "applauded" these acts of vandalism simply for being against Trump. Likewise, there has been speculation that just as Chavismo has infiltrated rebels into the latest protests in Ecuador and Chile to destabilize the governments, it has also sent people to the U.S. to further ignite the fire. It is a pity that one part of society has so much accumulated resentment! I pray that the mood will be calm and that harmony and respect will come.
