In them, distance has nothing to do with closeness. Sometimes we can be in the same bed with someone and realize that the other person is miles away. Because closeness is not a matter of body, but of tuning in. Sometimes, what at the beginning could be a fracture, becomes with the days an abyss, which we are afraid to approach. I'm trying to remember a poem that talks about how it's better for something to be "completely broken" than to have something "half broken", because in the end the half broken is you. Being aware of "our truth" will not make us stumble less, make us make fewer mistakes. Who hasn't felt, at some time, that they are circling in a forest, lost, unable to find their way?
