I'm eyeing up the Mir 10-A which is a 28mm 2.8 for something slightly wider, but yeah this 37mm on a full frame sensor will definitely look nice.

Me neither since I mostly just use vintage glass. I think people generally go for other companies too that may offer some different characteristics, like Sirui and their anamorphic lenses. Then there are 'cine' lenses like DZO and NiSi.

Actually, if you don't have any filters for your lenses, look into those. Especially if you're in a very sunny environment where you want more light control. A variable ND filter should help a lot in the environment you're in now. So you don't need to increase the shutter speed or aperture too much if it's too sunny out there.
