It's what stops me from watching most of them. Out of curiosity I started watching Batman v Superman by Zack Snyder, which was pretty much despised by critics. But I found it thematically far more engaging in comparison. Though Snyder's love for just pitch black cinematography doesn't help it. Even so, I'd say it's much better than this. I remember the first having a lot of comedy to it too, but it had decent pacing. It wasn't just action after action after action
