I've been here for three months now. I spent 8 months in Armenia before coming here. Such a contrast! I moved to the Saburtalo area, still have so much to discover throughout the city. A recent trip to Borjomi but that's about it.
I'm surprised to see someone else here that is in Tbilisi! Feel free to throw some cafe or restaurant recommendations my way, I'd greatly appreciate it. The best I know of are Art Cinema, Auditoria, and Introvert Cafe.
But yeah, I know what you mean by the sadness in the decay. Some areas are so beautiful and to see their condition is a tragedy. I can't help but be pulled in by such areas though. Such a curiosity and fascination for the history and the culture. I want to capture them and tell their stories.
