Beer over there was so much cheaper than it is here. I loved that, haha. One beer here is between £3.80 - £5. Beer over there was around 2-3 Euros, which equates to around £1.50 - £2.50.
One of my favourite things was definitely the simplicity of sitting outside in some beautiful square surrounded by independent cafes and small chains, with the rest of the buildings being apartments filled with colour and decorations on the balconies. Being sheltered from the sun but still feeling the warmth of it, alongside a refreshing and light tasting beer.
It's something that can't really be done here in England due to the weather, and the fact that we don't have many places to casually sit down at outside and be serviced. Here we have a tendency to get a beer and then quite literally just stand outside of the bar/pub in the street.
