The Wailing is excellent! I've seen it twice and yes, you're very right it's a slow movie, I remember that at the beginning it has the necessary loo to be a movie of humor and terror, innocent and silly as its main character, but at the beginning of the second and long act, everything changes, suspense, terror and that ending, I think it's one of the best endings I've seen.
