El Liverpool no está teniendo su mejor temporada en la Premier League; lesiones y la baja forma física de sus jugadores ha hecho que este club el cual en los últimos años ha estado entre los cuatro primeros, ahora este luchando por salir de la mitad de la tabla de posiciones; en lo que va de temporada este equipo ha perdido muchos puntos por los empates conseguidos y dos derrotas siendo visitante contra equipos que son parte de los considerados "Big Six"; una de esas derrotas fue en el gran partido, un gran espectáculo que ofrecieron tanto Arsenal cómo el Liverpool en la anterior jornada y que el equipo de Klopp demostró los factores que afectan el desempeño de su club y que cité con anterioridad, me refiero (nuevamente) a lesiones y baja forma física de sus jugadores; en una anterior opinión que escribí sobre el juego del Liverpool es que pareció ser más agresivo, la presión se volvió más fuerte, golpear, hacer fuertes fouls y me sorprendió porque no había visto esas facetas de este equipo y a pesar de la derrota contra el Arenal, parece que al DT alemán le gustó esa manera de jugar y podrá ser una filosofía que usará en la premier para subir cada vez más puestos en la tabla de clasificación. Hago referencia al Liverpool en esta lucha por el liderato porque seguramente tanto el Arsenal cómo el Manchester City lo vieron como un equipo que puede ser juez y verdugo en la lucha por el campeonato sin importar su actualidad y un claro ejemplo es lo que sucedió en la novena y décima jornada cuando por cosas del destino, el Liverpool enfrentó a estos dos clubes consecutivamente.

El equipo de Arteta puede verse cansado en este tramo de la temporada, pero cuando la exigencia es mayor pienso que es el momento de que los jugadores demuestren buena actitud y ganas de competir; pienso que esos factores o características lo tuvo el Arsenal contra equipos que debió enfrentar después de su derrota contra el Manchester United en su visita a Old Trafford; pienso que en ese momento aprendieron de sus errores y por eso deben saber que cada juego es de suma importancia por si quieren ganar títulos en esta temporada.

El Liverpool mostró una cara de antaño más la agresividad que se vio contra el Arsenal en dónde tanto la defensa y Allison fueron factor importante para aprovechar un grave error defensivo del equipo de Pep y así anotar un gol que puede activar a este equipo y hacerlo regresar a esta competencia. No hay duda que esta temporada de la Premier League es emocionante y eso es debido a que el Arsenal está en esa lucha por mantenerse líder, pero no solo es eso porque hay equipos que están lejos, pero parece que recuperan su mejor momento y así crear dificultad a Arsenal, Manchester City y ahora Tottenham; equipos como Chelsea, Manchester United y ahora Liverpool (a pesar de ser octavos) serán los que quiten o den importante ventaja a estos tres clubes que comandan esta gran competición.
