Received a skull silver stamp in the mail. Will be using that and an anchor as a hallmark on my silver pours. Kind of piratey.
And.....I have a scrolly alphabet that will look nice on the back of some silver as a name.
There is a package of Virtreous enamel powder on the way. It is sometimes called porcelain enamel.
The powder picture is not one I have personally taken. It is one Dephi uses as advertisement. All the other images are ones I have personally taken with my cell phone. When the colored powder arrives I will post images.
The colors included are:
White
Flame Red
Pumpkin Orange
Buttercup Yellow
Hunters Green
Horizon Blue
Bluejay Blue
Fox Glove Purple
Elk Brown
Black
(Delphi named the colors)
The powder is put on metal (SILVER and GOLD) then heated. The glass powder melts and fuzes with the precious metal surface.
The enamel gives a more permanent and better look than paint. I am gonna give it a shot and post some examples when it gets here.
