Today I want to share with you some more pictures from the session I did for Diego a few weeks ago. I must say that doing this session in a place where I had already worked before was a bit challenging, the fact of wanting to show a different perspective of the same place is always a challenge, but I love that you can appreciate the photographs and compare them with others I have done in the same place and you can see a totally different concept and essence in each photograph, so the idea of using a place and get the maximum potential I like.
El día de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes algunas fotografías más de la sesión que le realicé a Diego hace algunas semanas. Debo decir que hacer esta sesión en un lugar donde ya había trabajado antes resultó un tanto desafiante, el hecho de querer mostrar una perspectiva diferente del mismo lugar siempre es un reto, pero me encanta que puedan apreciar las fotografías y compararlas con otras que haya hecho en el mismo lugar y se puede ver un concepto y esencia totalmente distinto en cada fotografía, por lo que la idea de usar un lugar y sacar su máximo potencial me gusta.
Diego is a pretty serious guy in the photographs, you can clearly see that, but when you talk to him, he is a very warm person, you can have a quiet conversation and you can also notice the kind of person he is. The idea of being able to generate a certain connection with the model you are photographing is extremely important, I would say that it is the way that everything can go in the best way in the final result and although you can not always find perhaps a middle ground between photographer and model, you can always make the work more enjoyable for both.
Diego es un chico bastante serio en las fotografías, claramente se puede apreciar, pero en el momento de hablar con él, es una persona bastante cálida, puedes mantener una conversación tranquila y también puedes notar el tipo de persona que es. La idea de poder generar una cierta de conexión con el modelo al que estás fotografiando es sumamente importante, diría que es la manera de que todo pueda salir de la mejor manera en el resultado final y aunque no siempre se puede encontrar quizás un punto medio entre fotógrafo y modelo, siempre se puede hacer el trabajo más ameno para ambos.
After we finished the session, Diego told me that these photographs were to be published on his birthday and I thought it was a good way to give himself a present with this session, because this way he was welcoming his birthday with some photographs that he liked and clearly new. His birthday was relatively recently, October 10th and I really hope he had a great day.
Luego de que terminamos la sesión, Diego me comentaba que estas fotografías eran para ser publicadas el día de su cumpleaños y me pareció una buena forma de darse el mismo un regalo con esta sesión, porque así daba la bienvenida a su cumpleaños con unas fotografías que le gustaban y nuevas claramente. Su cumpleaños fue hace relativamente poco, el 10 de octubre y realmente espero que haya tenido un excelente día.
