This was the first photo shoot where I used direct sunlight when it was still at a pretty strong point and I honestly thought that you should not take pictures at those hours for the same reason, but I was really quite pleased with this session, I think (although I'm not entirely sure because I do not remember) that there were no clouds to say that mitigated a little the strength of the sun, so having a pretty good result even I was surprised. Clearly speaking only in aspects of light, talking about other aspects such as the perfect poses of the model is another story but that clearly is one of the strengths of the photograph.
Esta fue la primera sesión de fotos donde utilicé la luz directa del sol cuando se encontraba todavía en un punto bastante fuerte y honestamente pensé que no debía hacerse fotos a esas horas por lo mismo, pero realmente quedé bastante encantado con esta sesión, creo (aunque no estoy del todo seguro porque no lo recuerdo) que no hubo nubes para decir que mitigaron un poco la fuerza del sol, por lo que tener un resultado bastante bueno hasta a mí me sorprendió. Claramente hablando sólo en aspectos de luz, hablando de otros aspectos como las perfectas poses de la modelo es otra historia pero que claramente es uno de los puntos fuertes de la fotografía.
Clari is the first professional model I work with, I mention professional because she has been preparing and training for years in academies, participating in contests and I do not want to reduce all her efforts because they can really be noticed in the naturalness of her poses, which, although it is true that they are not everyday poses, that professionalism that I mention makes her look quite natural, that confidence with which Clari poses is one of the factors that most favors her.
Clari es la primera modelo profesional con la que trabajo, menciono lo de profesional porque ella tiene años preparándose y formándose en academias, participando en concursos y no quiero reducir todos sus esfuerzos porque realmente pueden notarse en la naturalidad de sus poses, que, aunque es cierto que no son poses del día a día, esa profesionalidad que les menciono hace que en ella luzcan bastante naturales, esa confianza con la que posa Clari es uno de los factores que más le favorecen.
As a photographer I know that I have to direct the models in many occasions, mostly when they are not so experienced or when I really need something specific for the concept of the photographs, but in this case with Clari everything was so simple, she herself made the session her own catwalk, because she arrived and started to develop, the only thing she asked me was to correct her if I saw certain details, but I did it very little honestly, her work as a model is quite clean and efficient, so I really enjoyed the session.
Como fotógrafo se que debo dirigir a los modelos en muchas ocasiones, en su mayoría cuando estos no tienen tanta experiencia o cuando realmente necesito algo en concreto para el concepto de las fotografías, pero en éste caso con Clari todo fue tan sencillo, ella misma hizo de la sesión su propia pasarela, porque llegó y empezó a desenvolverse, lo único que me pedía era que le corrigiera si veía ciertos detalles, pero lo hice muy poco honestamente, su trabajo como modelo es bastante limpio y eficiente, por lo que realmente disfruté de la sesión.
