Skateboarding dominating the squares [Eng/Esp]

Capturing competitions in certain sports can be very interesting, especially when there are different types of competitors who give their all in every display of skill. At the skatepark, this was what we saw most often, which is why I want to share these photos today, offering a different perspective that appreciates both competitiveness and camaraderie, because both are part of healthy competition. I hope you enjoy these photos.

Capturar competencias de algunos deportes puede ser muy interesante, más cuando hay distintos tipos de competidores que van a entregar todo lo que tienen en cada muestra de destreza y en el skatepark era lo que más se presenciaba, por eso quiero compartir estas fotografías el día de hoy, una perspectiva distinta, apreciando tanto la competitividad y también el compañerismo, porque ambos forman parte de una competencia sana, espero que disfruten de estas fotografías.

Capturing movement is complicated, especially when you try to freeze the movement of athletes. Seeing the constant movement of these skaters was impressive, But I had to keep my eyes moving from one place to another, trying to follow the direction they were going, trying to find that moment when they did a stunt or something I thought would be interesting to capture. That's why I had to take several photos, which meant some were out of focus, but others were well focused and froze the movement nicely. It's all about being persistent until you get the photo you want.

Capturar el movimiento resulta complicado, más cuando intentas congelar el movimiento de deportistas y ver el constante movimiento que hacían estos patinadores era impresionante, pero tenía que ir con la vista puesta de un lugar a otro, intentando seguir la dirección hacia donde se dirigían, intentando encontrar ese momento en el cual hicieran una acrobacia o fuese un momento que considerara interesante de capturar, por eso tuve que hacer varias fotografías, lo que me costó el tener fotografías desenfocadas, pero otras con buen enfoque y buena manera de congelar el movimiento, todo es ser constante hasta conseguir la foto que quieres.

As with my street photography, I try to give my photos a cinematic style, allowing certain colors to create contrast and make the subjects stand out. Since I took these photos outdoors, I had to balance the light a little, because the sun was quite strong, but it worked out well, considering that when I chose the settings on my camera, I lost some light, but I was able to create contrast in this way.

Al igual que en mis fotografías callejeras, intento que el estilo del revelado de las fotografías sea un estilo cinematográfico, permitir que ciertos colores generen un contraste y hagan que los protagonistas destaquen, por eso, como hice estas fotografías al aire libre, tuve que equilibrar un poco la luz, porque el sol estuvo bastante fuerte, pero sirvió bastante, teniendo en cuenta que al elegir los valores de mi cámara perdía luz, pero se pudo contrastar de esa manera.
