A different fly - Dioprosopa clavata [Eng/Esp]

Greetings dear friends of the community, how are you? Several weeks ago I was taking some pictures of some flowers in the yard of my house and from one moment to another appeared this little insect that at first I thought it was a small dragonfly and as it was moving very fast I was not entirely sure but still I took some pictures while waiting for it to stop for a few seconds to make a better focus and although it cost a little because I think it was scared every time I moved the camera a little, this is what I could get, I hope you like them as much as I do.

Saludos queridos amigos de la comunidad ¿qué tal se encuentran? Hace varias semanas estaba haciendo algunas fotografías a unas flores en el patio de mi casa y de un momento a otro apareció éste pequeño insecto que al principio pensé era una libélula pequeña y como se desplazaba muy rápido no estaba del todo seguro pero aún así hice algunas fotografías mientras esperaba que se detuviera por pocos segundos para hacer un mejor enfoque y aunque costó un poco porque creo que se asustaba cada vez que movía un poco la cámara, esto es lo que pude conseguir, espero que les gusten tanto como a mí.

Once I had the pictures I used the help of Google to identify what kind of insect it was and I ended up discovering that it is a type of fly, it is a four-spotted hover fly and its scientific name is dioprosopa clavatam, if I am honest I had no idea about this insect but I found very interesting the difference it has with the flies we have always known, this species has a more elongated body and this is what confused me making me think it was a dragonfly, but you always learn something new.

Ya una vez con las fotografías utilicé la ayuda de Google para identificar qué tipo de insecto era y terminé descubriendo que es un tipo de mosca, es una mosca flotadora de cuatro manchas y su nombre científico es dioprosopa clavatam si les soy honesto no tenía idea sobre este insecto pero me pareció muy interesante la diferencia que tiene con las moscas que conocemos de toda la vida, esta especie tiene un cuerpo más alargado y esto fue lo que me confundió haciéndome pensar que era una libélula, pero siempre se aprende algo nuevo.

This just adds one more insect to the collection of all the ones I have ended up photographing in my backyard and all this thanks to the flowers that are starting to grow, which I am sure is the main reason that attracts so many insects. At some point I will surely upload pictures of each of the insect species I have been lucky enough to photograph so you can appreciate how well the collection is doing.

Esto sólo suma un insecto más a la colección de todos los que he terminado fotografiando en el patio de mi casa y todo esto gracias a las flores que empiezan a crecer, lo que estoy seguro es el motivo principal que atrae a tantos insectos. En algún momento seguramente suba fotografías de cada una de las especies de insectos que he tenido la suerte de fotografiar para que puedan apreciar lo bien que va la colección.
