Hello friends, it’s Nana Aisha here! And this will be my first blog on Hive, which will be a brief introduction of myself and my business; NAIS Farms, to the Hive community through the HypeTurf platform.

I like to describe myself as a charismatic lady with a friendly, vibrant, and outgoing persona. And lest I forget, my best hobby happens to be eating good food! Call me a foodie if you like. I own it.. haahaa! I’ve got a love for vlogging and cooking delicacies, and I’ve been told there are no boring moments around this lady called Moi!

Born in the suburbs of Ogbomosho town in Nigeria and blessed with a B.Sc Degree in Chemistry, I literally grew up as a Nigerian lady with an innate entrepreneurial spirit. Given the current trend of tech industries and start-ups springing up globally, I am also on track to become a certified data analyst before we get to the middle of the year. Perhaps I’ll get to land a decent job with a tech startup and set out to achieve my goals for the year and more!

Nais Farms is basically a poultry farm startup that I’ve been running for only a few years that revolves around Broiler rearing for meat, Layers for eggs and meat, and selling chicks and cockerels to other farmers. It has been quite a journey of ups and downs and I still ask myself if I’m actually on the right track or if I should switch to looking for a 9-5 job!

I intend to create farm and agriculture-related content (mostly on poultry and birds), and I hope I find the right community here. I have been told that there is a community for everyone’s niche here on hive! I’m open to suggestions as I want to kick this adventure off on the right foot! Help a newbie out, pretty please! Coupled with spreading the word about my business, I plan to use the rewards earned on my blogs to further propel my business as I eagerly look forward to expanding the farm and increasing the number of birds I own. Hoping it turns out as a win-win for me!

Without boring you much, I’ll wrap it up with a shout-out to my friend @mengene for tagging me to join in here! I can't wait to start full engagement with other members and I hope I get to see my business grow with HypeTurf as my springboard! I really look forward to making the best out of Hive by using it as my voice to the world!
