My response to the @Indiaunited Contest Theme- : "How has Hive changed my online Life?"

My Hive journey began 9 years ago and since then I have been kind of addicted to it. A lot of my time has shifted to being online in the last 9 years. Before that I was not the one who would open my laptop every single day for work. It would be need based. Of course, when I was in a full-time job, it was a different scenario. This is about the in-between time when I quit my job and started my Hive journey.

Being online all the time is not something I enjoy, but writing I do and hence I keep coming back every single day. I do have other jobs also to manage so it's not only for Hive that I am online. I have to constantly do promotion and marketing for my Airbnb, and that's also one reason why I am online regularly. In a day around 3 to 4 hours I am online, which is mostly the morning hour from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. I do not like to spend more time than this. Once I shut down at 2:30 p.m. then it's only the next day that I get online, unless something emergency. After lunch, is normally a little relaxation time, then my workouts, reading, tv, and home activities.

So, if Hive would not be in my life, I would probably have a little lesser online time, may be 2 to 3 hours. Hive has not changed my online life much, except for increasing by an hour to hour and a half. If I would be working in a full-time job probably, I would spend more time online then what I am right now. Also, this one is not compulsion and though I do have a fixed routine, I also have the flexibility of doing things at my own time.
